Sally Pointer is an Experimental Archaeologist and heritage educator with research interests
in the development of textiles across time.
She has worked extensively in public engagement, reenacting, film, theatre and television, and has made historically inspired hats and hosiery
for a number of major productions. Her work in bringing textile archaeology to a wide audience through her
YouTube channel and social media projects recently won the Prehistoric Society’s President's Award,
and she regularly teaches traditional skills at heritage sites across the UK and Europe.
